Applications sought for a Research Fellow to join the HIV MC team
The HIV Modelling Consortium Secretariat, based at Imperial College London, is currently looking for a Research Fellow to join our team in London. The Research Fellow will be expected to plan and lead a programme of high quality of research, submit publications to high-impact journals, attend and present at conferences and meetings with researchers and policy-makers relevant to the field.
The successful applicant must have a PhD or equivalent in mathematical modelling, statistics, infectious disease epidemiology or a similar quantitative discipline. Candidates must have appropriate technical skills and experience to perform the required research, including excellent computing skills (e.g. C/C++ programming or others), good working knowledge of deterministic models and complex individual-based / network models, Monte Carlo simulations, ability to design and analyse large scale modelling experiments, estimating model parameters and fitting complex models to data.
